Rules to cross the borders
Tour companies must fill in a passenger list in advance to cross the borders
The Iguazu Falls in Argentina are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The falls in Brazil are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (on weekends they start at 8:30 a.m.)
For the Paraguay border, if one travels further must bring yellow fever proof and a valid passport. If one just visits Ciudad del Este they dont require it.
For people that are traveling to Argentina it is better to bring hundred blue bills of USD or Euros. One can exchange it on the streets at the blue dollar rate. Some foreign credit card brands have also been using the blue dollar rate on transactions.
The Brazilian government postponed the demand for visas from tourists from the United States, Canada and Australia to April 10th, 2025.

The national parks were declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1984 and 1986.

About VISA |
Before travelling, one must check about the VISA for Brazil or Argentina. To visit both sides of the Iguazu Falls there are borders to cross and one must show the papers. Make your experience the best one, check about VISA and book tours in advance. The citizens from Canada, Australia and the United States no longer need a VISA to visit Brazil and Argentina until April 2025. People from Japan do not need visa anymore. Enjoy it!
